Silvermist Mountain Lodge is situated on the Constantiaberg slopes in Hout Bay on an exclusive 60 acre estate. Surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature and fresh mountain air, guests can enjoy watching the evening mist trial up the Longkloof valley below.

Its position at Constantia Nek in the heart of the Cape Peninsula, close to Claremont, 15 minutes from Cape Town city centre, the V&A Waterfront, cape beaches and winelands definitely places Silvermist in a class of its own. Set in the peace and tranquillity of beautiful natural surroundings, the luxurious Silvermist cottages are individually decorated, self contained, comfortable and fully serviced. All cottages are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens. The cosy lounges all have a fireplace and the elegant bedrooms and bathrooms have all the features required to make this an exceptionally enjoyable stay.

In the morning guests have the choice of a private breakfast on their own veranda or a sumptuous breakfast spread in the coffee shop. Summer days could be spent enjoying a barbecue in the sheltered surroundings or a swim in the specially designed “natural mountain swimming pool”.
During winter, enjoy wine from one of the well known local Constantia wine estates whilst sitting in front of your own log fire and later drive down to one of the fine restaurants close by. Excellent conference and function facilities are available to meet the needs of corporate clients.

With mountain trails converging at Silvermist, the estate is an ideal stopover for hikers and nature lovers and is a short distance from the sea, winelands, restaurants and shops.
